Technology Licensing

IKP has set a Technology Licensing Office.

Intellectual property (IP) awareness is very crucial in India, given the vibrant entrepreneurial climate prevailing at present. IP protection functions as an incentive for innovation- it enables a sustainable competitive advantage that allows the entrepreneur or inventor to be rewarded for his or her innovativeness. The division of Technology Licensing at IKP Knowledge Park has the following responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance as a fee-based service to IKP incubates and lessees in matters of intellectual property strategy, in-licensing/out-licensing, etc

  • To function as a technology transfer resource and IP repository for research institutions in this region. To facilitate technology transfer, both inwards and outwards, between Indian research institutions and local and global industries

  • To educate local industries, entrepreneurs and students about intellectual property rights and technology transfer
