Workshops and Conferences
 
The Park organizes regular workshops and conferences The Flagship Conference Series of IKP Knowledge Park is IKMC - International Knowledge Millennium Conference, held every two years on a scientific topic of global relevance.
 
IKMC:
 
IKMC 2002 in November 2002 focused on drug Discovery and Healthcare in the Knowledge Economy: India's Opportunities. IKMC 2004 on Biotechnology in India- Building Bridge between Science & Industry was held form October 31 - November 2, 2004. About three hundred delegates including entrepreneurs, scientists and policy makers had attended the conferences. The third Conference in the series IKMC 2006 focused on Innovative Solutions For Public Health, which was held on Dec 19 & 20, 2006 in Hyderabad.
 

The fourth International Knowledge Millennium Conference - IKMC 2009, of IKP Knowledge Park, had deliberated on how entrepreneurs and established business institutions around the world have achieved the transformation of innovative technologies into sustainable products.Focus was also on how we, in India, can bridge the gap that currently exists between conceptualisation and actualisation.

A Business Plan Competition on "Innovative Products for Global Health" for Startup companies (less than 5 years) & for Individuals/Teams working on developing innovative products that can impact the health of large populations was organised as part of IKMC2009.
 
BioAsia:
 
“BioAsia, an annual event promoted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, provides an opportunity for life sciences companies from around the world to showcase the best of products, services, technologies and facilitates interactions and business transactions among Life science companies. The 7th edition of BioAsia, BioAsia2010 was held from 3-6 February, 2010 and was attended by over 600 people. Each year as a IKP Knowledge Park organizes a half-day session on BioParks on the first day of BioAsia as a preconference event.
