    New Initiatives

As part of its innovation strategy, IKP has launched the ICICI Centre for Technologies in Public Health (ICTPH) in December 2006 to augment research commercialization efforts in the area of public health technologies.

IKP plans to launch the ICICI Centre for Advancement in Agricultural Practice (ICAAP) in 2007 to provide a platform for facilitating knowledge and experience sharing between the various agri-stakeholders including agricultural scientists, farmers, agro-industries, agri-financing institutions, policy makers and planners. The objective of ICAAP is to improve agri-practices and impact agricultural productivity levels through knowledge sharing by acting as a bridge between knowledge available at the research laboratories and actual farming practices.

IKP along with NASSCOM is setting up a seed fund for startup companies to address the lack of seed money and angel investors in India.
